FAQ'S How do I book a class with Exotica Fitness Center? Note: All classes are first come first serve. Our classes are designed for women ages 18 and older. What Should I Wear/Bring to Class? Comfortable work out clothes, yoga clothes, shorts, t-shirts & tennis shoes. Most importantly clothes should be made of a stretchy materials to allow full movement. You might want to bring bottled water; and if you bruise easily or have tender knee joints, an exercise mat for the floorwork, and knee pads. What Not To Wear? Tights, Lotion, or Body Oil (Pole Class) Are the Classes Strenuous? The first time you try it, pole dancing will feel fairly strenuous, and you will probably feel it in your upper body muscles the next day. This would be the same with any new physical activity where your body needs time to adapt to the new demands being placed on it. Once you begin to get used to the pole, the techniques that allow for a better spin will come more into play, and this, combined with a gradual increase in strength, will bring progress. Regular pole dancing is great for bringing tone to all areas of the body. How Early Should I Arrive Before Class? Please be courteous to your instructor and other classmates by arriving to class at least ten minutes before it begins. Paying in advance with Diva Club Cards will save you time and money!
